Lightwise was founded by Zach and Jason McIntire in 2011. Zach, who serves as lead project manager, started in the construction world in 2007 with managing an electrical supply company. Jason trained in lighting in 2014, coming from a background in computers and marketing. Like many startups, Lightwise came into being on a shoestring and a home-based office. While some of our staff still work remotely for efficiency, operations have since centered on our new headquarters building located in Bolivar, Missouri. We have a full array of lighting supply infrastructure, with highly trained people covering sales (including detailed lighting takeoffs and calculations), customer service, shipping and receiving, and deliveries.
Even though not all our employees are family, Lightwise promotes a family atmosphere and ethic. Our expectations of every hire are crystal clear: We treat others the way we want to be treated. Rather than walking as close as possible to the ethical line, we aim to be above question in our business practices, and ready to take responsibility when issues are our fault.
